Genshin Impact Dune-Entombed Fecundity Part III World Quest guide – The Dirge of Bilqis

Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part III is the fifth Genshin Impact World Quest in The Dirge of Bilqis quest chain. In this segment, you must find a way to enter the Eternal Oasis.

You'll unlock this quest immediately after completing the following prerequisites:

• Wisdom Has Built Her House, She Has Hewn Out Her Seven Pillars
• The Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears
• Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part I
• Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part II

How to complete Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part III World Quest in Genshin Impact

Return to the surface

Upon starting the quest, head to the highlighted area in the map to trigger dialogue with the exploration party. After that, you'll be teleported to the cockpit inside the giant Ruin Golem.

Drive the ancient machine to your destination

Interact with the controls in front of the monitor to activate the Ruin Golem. Click anywhere to prompt a small cutscene of the machine moving.

Check on the condition of the machine's interior

Walk around the inside of the control room and wait for Liloupar's dialogue. The view will shift to the monitor. Simply wait for Azariq and Liloupar to finish talking to each other.

Destroy the obstructing rocks (0/3)

Interact with the controls once again to control the Ruin Golem. Watch out for a sparkling spot (as pictured above) and click on it to fire a shot. While the quest objective has a (0/3) indicator, you only need to attack one spot. It will prompt dialogue between the exploration party. After the dialogue, you can move on to the next part of the quest.

Leave the pilot cabin

Prepare a battle-ready team, then exit the control room and glide one floor downward. Head toward the quest marker to trigger dialogue with the exploration party.

Defeat Azariq and his subordinates

In an expected turn of events, Azariq is revealed to be a traitor. Defeat him and the surrounding Eremites with Jeht's help to trigger dialogue. Once that's done, a cutscene will play, and you'll be teleported out of the Ruin Golem. You'll also unlock the Wonders of the World Achievement called The Loveless Tarantula.

Alight from the machine

As soon as the dialogue with the exploration team ends, you'll find a glowing spot beside Fatui members right in front of you. Approach the spot and interact with Aderfi. Defeat Aderfi and the Fatui Skirmishers to complete this segment.

Check the dropped items

Interact with the glowing spot to read the Secret Letter to Aderfi. Then click the X button to trigger dialogue with the exploration team.

Follow Liloupar's instructions and return to the machine's interior

You'll find the entrance to the Ruin Golem (its arm) up ahead. Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to help you travel faster and keep following the path until you reach the interior of the machine.

Enter the tunnel alongside the inside of the machine & Go deeper into the tunnel

For this part, patiently wait for the dialogue at the bottom of the screen, as the quest navigator will not activate until a certain point. You can then follow it toward the southeast of the main room (see the mini-map above for further directions). Approach the glowing spot inside the tunnel, then follow the path forward.

At the point where the tunnel splits, ignore the large clearing at the bottom and cross through the other half of the tunnel instead, where the arrow is pointing above. Follow the path until you reach a dead end.

Glide or plunge downward to meet a group of Primal Constructs. Defeating them is optional. Instead, pay attention to the tree near them, as you'll find the next part of the tunnel hidden behind it. Reference the second photo in the slideshow above for the image of the tunnel. Enter it and follow the path forward until you find a glowing spot.

Remove the sand & Proceed deeper

Interact with the device up ahead to trigger a small cutscene. Then you need to head further into the cave.

From the location of the device, keep going forward until you run into an intersection, then turn right to enter another part of the tunnel. Follow the path until you reach another intersection, where the left side houses a staircase. Ignore it and turn right instead to find a hidden Teleport Waypoint. Don't forget to activate it for easy navigation later on.

You'll find a Four-Leaf Sigil to the right of the Teleport Waypoint. Hook onto it, then plunge or glide downward to find a huge clearing. Head to the western part of the highlighted area (last picture above) to find another Four-Leaf Sigil above a large branch. Hook onto it to propel yourself upward, revealing the entrance to a ruin.

Open the ancient gate

Interact with the mechanism in front of the gate to open it. A Primal Construct will get in the way, but defeating it is not necessary for the quest.

Keep exploring

Enter the ruin and interact with the Exquisite Chest at the center of the room to obtain the Khaj-Nisut Chess Piece, which can be used for a World Quest and puzzle later on. It's one of five Chess Pieces that can be placed in Safhe Shatranj. Wait for Paimon's dialogue at the bottom of the screen to complete this objective.

Open the ancient gate

In this segment, you must open the ancient gate in the main room. However, it's blocked by a device that will only unlock after you solve a couple of puzzles underground. For a full walkthrough of this part, check out our guide on How to open the ancient gate in Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part III.

Keep exploring & Obtain Liloupar's fragment

Once the gate has opened, enter it and follow the path forward. Once you reach the edge of the floor, glide or plunge downward, then look behind you to find a triangular-shaped entrance with a small patch of grass and a Dendroculus. Enter the room and interact with Liloupar's fragment to obtain it.

Activate the ancient mechanism

Exit the room and follow the path toward the locked device at the opposite end of the room. It will unlock as you approach it. Interact with the device to prompt a small cutscene of sand flowing.

Go behind the device and glide downward. Interact with the yellow mechanism to summon enemies, including Primal Constructs and a Consecrated Beast. Once they've been defeated, a small cutscene will play.

Go to the platform

Follow the direction of the sand and climb the stairs to exit the building. Doing so will trigger dialogue with the exploration party, as well as Liloupar's sister, Ferigees.

Defeat Ferigees

Ferigees is the statue/mechanism at the center of the clearing. At the start of the battle, Primal Constructs will spawn. Defeat them to break Ferigees' shield, allowing you to damage her. Once her HP bar has been lowered, enemies will spawn again. Follow the same pattern of defeating enemies and damaging Ferigees until her HP bar is completely depleted.

Go to the center of the platform

After Ferigees has been defeated, dialogue with the exploration party will trigger. Then simply step onto the center of the platform to trigger dialogue and a cutscene of the platform's elevation, taking you to another area in the desert.

Go to the Eternal Oasis

Enter the opening on the left side of the cave and follow the path forward to enter the Eternal Oasis, completing the World Quest. You'll also unlock the Wonders of the World Achievement called The Silent, Dreamless Paradise, and the next quest in the series, The Eternal Dream, Ever Lush.
