How to find Silver Ore in Valheim

To get silver ore in valheim, you will need to first get a wishbone from the Bonemass and then use the wishbone to locate underground deposits. Once you got a wishbone, you can use it to find silver deposits by equipping the bone and then taking a stroll around mountains in the mountain biome until you hear and see glowing beeping effects coming from your character.

When these pulsating effects get quicker and louder, it means you are on top of a deposit, and within a few swings of your pickaxe, you will find silver ore. However, before heading into the mountain biome, make sure to make the following preparations

  • Craft warm clothes such as a wolf or lox cape
  • Make plenty of frost mead; it will protect you from frost attacks from drakes and the cold if you don't have a wolf or lox cape.
  • Bring good armor such as a full iron set to protect from stone golems and ice drakes.

You can also find silver ore spawning on the peaks of mountains in the snow biome; however, this is rare, and small mountain biomes might not contain silver ore deposits, so it might be best to look for silver in larger mountain biomes. Along with this, you can also find silver ore inside chests and deposits being guarded by large stone golems in the mountain biome.
