To make leather armor, you will need a total of 22 deer hides and five bone fragments. You can get the deer hides from deers roaming both black forests and meadows and bone fragments from skeletons that spawn in both swamps and inside and outside of burial chambers.

That said, here is everything you need to make for the full set; you will also need to use the same resources to upgrade each piece of armor five times.

  • Deer Hide Cape: Four deer hide and five bone fragments
  • Leather Pants: Six deer hide
  • Leather Tunic: Six deer hide
  • Leather Helmet: Six deer hide

Once you got all of the above resources, you will need to make your leather armor inside a level two workbench; you can craft a workbench with ten wood.

How to kill skeletions in Valheim

Unlike deer, killing skeletons is surprisingly a more straightforward task, as they run at you, swinging; you'll still need to be careful and pick the right weapon to take them down.

So far, we feel upgraded clubs and maces are the way ago; we also had great success with bronze atgeirs+. You can also combine using a decent shield to stagger the skeletons when they swing and attack at you; this will allow you can quickly return the favor and kill them faster.
