Honkai: Star Rail, much like Genshin Impact, continues with an RNG–based equipment system that may make you cry or retch when a Five-Star piece you leveled up doesn't obtain the stats you desired. Please keep in mind, I also think you should wait to try to obtain these relics until you are at Equilibrium Level Five. Because the Relic System is based strictly on RNG, the Trailblaze power that you spend in Caverns of Corrosion can never be guaranteed to actually provide equipment that will boost the stats of your characters.

The odds of obtaining the best relics for Trailblaze power spent is highest at Equilibrium Level Six. Level Five will at least guarantee that you receive one Five-Star Relic for each Cavern Challenge you complete. Until you reach these levels, I recommend that you make do with the Relics that you'll obtain from treasure chests and quests, focusing most on what Main Stats you want to boost for your character.
